Weekends In Portland

Posted in books, friends, life, photography, portland by amoslanka on October 5, 2008

Its been such a busy week for me I didn’t get around to posting the photos I took last weekend. I’ve been spending weekends in Portland with friends and at times, by myself taking in the many locations I’m quickly growing to love in all parts of the city. These are a few from some of those locations.

In case you haven’t been keeping up with my writing, I should mention here and now that I think few writers have the brilliance of Wendell Berry. Also, I love Stumptown.

Pax Sharp, who even has his own blog.

Speaking of the Sharps, I’m increasingly jealous of their wall colors.

Fall is finally here.

And oh yeah, this one: (nope, not a joke)

hopefully you meant 2 weekends ago because i never saw the sun all weekend. or maybe you have the perfect spot in portland that somehow gets sun when it rains everywhere else :)
