From Russia With HDR Love

Posted in art, photography by amoslanka on November 10, 2008

I’m not typically a fan of hdr photography and perhaps its because I’ve been reading Tolstoy lately, but I am in love with the photos on this site, sent out by this guy earlier today. Beautiful work, and these are my favorites:

If you can speak Russian, let me know what the site says.

    In fact it says nothing.
There was only a link to Alcove’s gallery on deviantart http://alcove.deviantart.com and not a single word about author.

Friend, I am like you…I am not a big fan of HD pics. However, those are amazing. And you are correct. The do have a Tolstoy feeling to them.

moverscalifornia :: do you mean high definition? or hdr? this is the hdr I’m talking about :

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging

when people who use it overuse it (which is most of the time) it gets way overdone.
