Hawaii Finale

Posted in landscape, photography, travel by amoslanka on September 20, 2009

I’ve finally found the time to finish processing photos from last April’s trip to Hawaii. There wasn’t a lot, but the summer provided enough distraction to keep me from its completion. I hope you all can enjoy these photos. Better yet, I hope they inspire you to see such a beautiful place with your own eyes. See the rest of the collection on my flickr.

I’ve been following your blog for sometime now … I’ve never commented before … I find that the way you think and write, as well as your photos, affect me deeply … you are inspiring and very refreshing :)

I love the double rainbow photo … simply beautiful.

Thanks very much Kathy for your kind words. It means a lot to be told such things, especially in a world that usually feels so arbitrary, one that sometimes feels like the only one who will benefit from my reflection is me. Of course in further thought, I know that neither are entirely true, but the heart wavers easily, I find, from hopeful to despair. Thank you for the encouragement. grace and peace to you, amos
